Through your experience, dedication and love for games you will have the ability to work in any area of the code base and on any project that Koolhaus Games is working on. You will be a core member of our management staff who understands the direction of Koolhaus Games and its projects and actively works to support those goals.
Required Experience • 5 or more years C++ programming experience • Experience with console (Wii, DS or other consoles) and PC development preferred • Experience as a Lead or Senior Programmer and ready for additional challenges • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Expert knowledge in software development methodologies • Self directed and team oriented • Expert knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the following: Graphics, AI, Physics, Sound, Networking, Tools and Libraries, R & D. • Experience working with artists, sound artists and designers • Enjoys an “always learning” environment • Creative, positive problem solving perspective • Team building and leadership skills • Able to contribute in other areas such as game design
Desirable Experience • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Masters preferred) • Programming experience on teams of 10 or more programmers • Mobile game development experience with J2ME, Brew, Symbian (optional) • Management or supervisory experience
