As Network Programmer you will be responsible for the multiplayer networking of a next-generation game. Key responsibilities include working closely with the product development team and the core technology teams to extend the networking into title-specific game systems.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to architect, program and optimize object-oriented C and C++ in existing or new systems, and with a focus on one or more game related specialties: tools, graphics, networking, AI, audio, physics, interface, Game Engine, and QA Programmer.
Experience in one or more areas of game technology with a specialization in one or more of: TCP/IP stack, network architecture (peer-to-peer, client/server), client side prediction techniques. Three years of C++ experience in video game development with strong C/C++ skills. First-hand experience in networking a successful video game product. Experience writing technical design documentation. Strong verbal and written skills. Computer Science or related engineering degree. Passion for developing and playing video games. Strong understanding of networking concepts and techniques.
