REPORTS TO (Title): Director of Game Development

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Sr. Concept Artist is responsible for creating key concept art to define the game’s mood and tone, including creating the actual assets used. This includes developing attractive, creative, functional and descriptive concept design pieces that support the production team and the creation of game assets.

Job Responsibilities:

Create finished art assets for in-game use and ensure that the art supplements the gameplay.

Provide leadership to create visually distinctive and engaging imagery for the game content, while maintain the game’s personality and style.

Execute game asset productions from start to finish, including managing outside creative resources (2D artists/ Animators) by overseeing continuity and quality of outsourced production.

Provide art direction, execution, and participation in areas of UI, animation, character design, and environment Design.

Articulate and participate in bringing new ideas to game design and content.
