Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a senior graphic designer to join the battle.net team. The battle.net team designs and develops all of Blizzard Entertainment’s web projects, ranging from community, account management, marketing, and e-commerce sites, to social features like character profiles and forums for multiple regions around the globe.

The ideal candidate is a talented, motivated, and accomplished graphic designer who can leverage the distinctive visual styles of Blizzard Entertainment's universes to create stunning website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces. This person must have a deep understanding of web design principles as well as information flow, readability, and interface usability principles to create graphic designs that not only are visually beautiful, but also translate into highly functional, legible, and easy-to-use web pages.

Requirements

Exceptional graphic design skills, artistic sense, and compositing abilities
Strong understanding of information flow, readability, and interface usability principles
Able to work within, and build upon the Blizzard Entertainment art style
Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Positive, problem-solving attitude
Organizational skills
A passion for user interface, and web page graphic design
A passion for video games

Pluses

Experience collaborating with a dedicated user experience team
Proficiency in creating vector graphics with Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge of video editing, and animation with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects (or equivalent package)
Experience designing pages for multiple form factors
Past design experience on gaming industry websites
