CCP North America is looking for talented individuals to be a part of the creative team that brought the world the groundbreaking MMO title, World of Darkness. Successful applicants will join a seasoned team based in Atlanta, GA.
Create fun and challenging environments - starting with documentation and the schematic phase through to final production quality levels that will ship in the finished product
Work directly with the Environment Director while also doing research and providing training and direction to level designers
Must be able to leverage your knowledge and experience in helping level designers through guidance and creative design discussions
Help design and execute the processes for creating interesting game play levels and worldspaces
5+ years professional videogame industry experience with at least 1 AAA shipped game title
3+ years of applicable management experience
Relevant college degree or tertiary education
Great communication skills with emphasis on working well in a team environment.
Must be able to communicate and execute your ideas in the game environment
Must be able to execute detailed design instruction in the game environment
Have knowledge in designing 3D environments and understand game flow
Possess a strong attention to detail and follow through on tasks to meet deadlines
Technical knowledge and experience with a commercial 3D engine such as Unreal Editor, BF2 editor, Q3Radiant, hammer and such is a plus
Working knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya or 3Dstudio is a plus
