Gameplay Programmer, Live Team

Responsibilities:
• Help design and coordinate the implementation of new Gameplay systems and features for Killing Floor and Red Orchestra 2
• Quickly prototype gameplay experiences as requested by Senior or Lead Game Designers
• Take ownership (in collaboration with the team) to ensure that features and systems implemented are presented at quality within in the game experience
• With the Lead Programmer, determine tasks to implement features and systems, and accurately determine associated timelines
• Coordinate with internal and external development teams to help ensure delivery of high quality updates
• Troubleshoot complex problems as they arise, construct solutions for unforeseen design problems in a timely manner
• Proactively problem-solve performance and stability issues when necessary
• Maintain and enhance tools and build pipelines, as necessary

Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of relevant programming experience
• Proficient in C/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Working knowledge of 3d math (vector geometry, linear algebra, etc.)
• Passion for great games, great technology and gameplay programming
• Experience working on a team and excellent communication skills
• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or similar discipline

Preference to applicants with:
• 1+ shipped titles for PC or next gen console
• Unreal Engine experience
• Code samples submitted using mod tools for Killing Floor or Red Orchestra 2
