Lead Character Artist – 2K Czech


LOCATION - CZECH REPUBLIC


We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Character Artist to join our team and bring expertise, motivation, and mature skill set. The Lead Character Artist will cooperate with the directors and coders in order to set the overall vision for the characters, as they have to be delivered in the best quality possible. Also, his/her responsibility is to mentor and lead other, less experienced character artists.

The Lead Character Artist works closely with the Art Director, but also with creative and technical people to help push the quality of our AAA titles.


Responsibilities

• Creating models precisely and according to his/her best abilities
• Adapting to a concept and style of the project
• Self-education in graphics and keeping track of trends in this field


Requirements

• Experience of managing a team of artists
• Ability to take charge and motivate others
• Knowledge of human anatomy, ability to capture personality
• Minimum four years of experience in computer graphics
• High school or university degree at Graphic Arts
• Knowledge of 3D Studio Max, ZBrush and Photoshop
• Knowledge of drawing or painting in a classic technique
• Experience in games industry is mandatory
• Advanced level of English
