Lead Environment Artist - 2K Czech


LOCATION - Czech Republic

We are looking for a talented Lead 3D Environment Artist to join our teams and bring expertise, motivation and mature skill set. He/she togethr with his/her team defines, develops and maintains high-end-run game environments. The Lead 3D Environment Artist works closely with the Art Director, level designers, contributes to creation of concepts, texturing, modeling, lighting, destructions and mainly is responsible for perfect quality of visually compelling environments and elements. He/she must understand game mechanics and propose interesting and gameplay suitable environment which looks believable. He/She teaches, guides and motivates his/her team to be able todeliver best possible result.

We are trying to push boundaries of real-time computer art, we provide the high tech technology and the best tools to our artists to enable them to express the best of them.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading team of artists
Teaching other less experienced artists
Creating models precisely and according to his/her best abilities
Adapting to a concept and style of the project
Close collaboration with game designers
Self-education in graphics and keeping track of trends in this field


REQUIREMENTS

High school or university degree at Graphic Arts
Minimum five years of experience in game industry
Knowledge of 3D Studio Max and Photoshop
Knowledge of drawing or painting in a classic technique
Ability to work with space, dimensions and composition
Ability to set up atmosphere in scenes (environmental effects, lighting)
Minimum one released project
Advanced level of English
