IT Manager

Gaikai is searching for a technical hands-on leader to join our IT team in our Aliso Viejo, California office.

We are growing fast here at Gaikai so the responsibilities are ever evolving but key duties include:

Administration of IT services on Linux including:

• Atlassian products including JIRA and Confluence
• PKI infrastructure
• Graphite and other monitoring tools
• BIND and DHCP
• Automated backups
• Storage devices including NetApp
• OpenLDAP
• SAMBA
• Apache
• License servers
• Collaboration tools

• All desktop and laptop computers and software used by Gaikai team. Operating systems include Windows, Linux, and Mac.
• IP address space for office computers
• Physical network moves, adds and changes
• Office wireless network
• Moving, installation and provisioning of servers in the offices and onsite data center
• Managing and mentoring IT team
• Helpdesk providing assistance for employees
• Accounts via LDAP and  Google Apps
• Purchasing

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-4 years experience in IT and Linux administration experience


• A leader, who is hardworking, learns quickly and thrives in a fast paced environment. 


• Strong customer service, problem solving and teamwork abilities


• Very detail oriented with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills


• Receptive to management coaching to increase his/her individual and team effectiveness.


• Excellent Linux knowledge


• Solid network fundamentals (network configs, VPN, Printing, etc)


• Knowledge of Windows and Mac


• Google Apps for enterprise experience


• LDAP


• Strong knowledge of desktop security (anti-virus/anti-spam/firewall/patching/two-factor authentication)
