As Senior Core Engineer, you will be the engine level specialist responsible for implementing cutting edge features and optimizations on current and Future Generation console and PC hardware. Your work is the foundation that allows our gameplay engineers and content creators to bring their game vision to life.

  • Provide technical expertise to develop games high-performance game engine technology.
  • Proven expertise in: architecture, design, authoring, adapting, maintaining, profiling, debugging, documenting, prototyping, and support for entire games or major systems.
  • Investigate and implement innovative game engine features.
  • Create good quality, performance-minded code.
  • Assist in the sharing of ideas and exploration of new practices to continually improve the quality of software development for the Company.
  • Provide leadership and insight to help the team avoid and overcome obstacles as they arise during development.
  • Provide coaching skills to help develop less experienced engineers.

    Requirements:
  • Specialization in one or more of the following areas required: Optimization, Physics, Graphics, VFX, Networking, Tools Development.
  • 5+ years experience in the creation and delivery of state-of-the-art, performance-minded games required.
  • Strong C/C++ experience required.
  • Experience with multi-threaded engine architectures.
  • Shipped one or more titles on current generation console hardware.
  • Passion for making and playing innovative games.
  • Ability to work independently and to be self-directing required.
  • Excellent team and communication skills required.
  • B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent game experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable with Assembly.
  • Cell/SPU experience preferred.
  • C# experience.
