Since 1989, we’ve developed dozens of bestselling and awarding winning games from edutainment to hardcore sports games on many platforms. Our focus for the past few years has been making casual games and creating the best classic pinball simulation ever. Our first self-published game, Pinball Arcade was awarded mobile game of the year by X-Play in 2012 and has been a very successful title for Apple and Android mobile devices, PlayStation3, PSVita, and Xbox 360. We plan to continue growing as both a developer and a digital games publisher on all of the current and next generation consoles.
Our studio is composed of gamers who are passionate about creating the best entertainment possible and we’ve created technology to empower them. FarSight develops and used its own high performance engines for the Xbox 360, PlayStatoin3, PS Vita, Wii-U, iOS, Android, and Macintosh, as well as the PC. Our cross-platform architecture is among the most advanced in the industry, and our tools allow every team member to efficiently integrate their work into each product. Our projects currently focus on the casual markets. It’s our goal to raise the bar of each genre we develop for and create exceptional gaming experiences.
FarSight is located in beautiful Big Bear Lake, California, an alpine lake and all-season resort community at 7,000 feet elevation in the San Bernardino mountain range northeast of Los Angeles. Big Bear offers hiking, fishing, waster-skiing, and mountain biking in the summer, as well as three local ski resorts in the winter. The relatively low cost for Southern California and relaxed lifestyle of Big Bear make it a wonderful place to live and work.
We offer competitive salaries and a great benefit package which includes:
• Three weeks of paid vacation annually to start. This increases to four weeks after three years on the team.

3D Game Artists
FarSight Studios is seeking multiple full-time 3d artists for all aspects of game art. This includes character design, modeling, unwrapping, texturing, rigging and animating. You must be an expert in either Maya or 3DS Max.
The ideal candidate:
• has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• is self-motivated
• is a solid communicator
• meets all deadlines
• produces high quality work
• is able to take criticism
• is capable of whimsical and photo-real styles
