BioWare Quality Assurance acts as a quality gauge during development, testing not only the product, but the processes used to create the product. Quality Assurance is intended to be proactive and catch problems before they make it into the product.
As a QA Lead you will be representing the core values of the QA team, driving excellence in Quality Assurance People and Practices and be responsible for Development support and QA Team Development.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluation and improvement of QA/Dev team relationship
Drive processes that continue to increase effectiveness and communication between QA and other departments
Risk Management for Game Team and for QA
Assist with career development within team
Responsible for coordinating with studio leads on budget approvals
Define what project milestones and associated QA deliverables are for the product
Driver of BioWare culture and advocate execution of BioWare vision for QA
Advocates and proposes development QA process improvements
Makes adjustments and escalates potential resourcing conflicts or shortages
Drives mentorship and career development with permanent staff
Primary QA point of contact for external studio communication with QA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
5+ years experience in a Leadership Role within game development (Production or QA)
3+ years experience testing experience
Minimum of 2 shipped AAA title on next-gen consoles (PS3, Xbox 360)
Agile Development experience (as QA Lead or Assistant Producer)

REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong Time and Task Management (Complex, Fuzzy)
Strong Problem Identification and Solving Ability
Strong Communicator(oral and written)
Strong Understanding of Software Quality Assurance Practices
Good Understanding of the Software Development Process
Focused on continuous improvement
Strong People Management Skills
Strong Project Management Skills

ADDITIONAL SKILLS, ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE
Prior experience creating operational plans, managing budgets
Ability to influence internally and externally
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the software development process, QA best practices/methodologies
Skilled at process design, implementation and integration
Good understanding and experience working in an agile game development environment

ADVANTAGE
Technical Diploma/Certificate or University Degree in a related field
Avid gamer who regularly engages and in both single player and multiplayer gameplay
