My client is a revolutionary 3D virtual gaming company developing games for users of all ages to learn, collaborate and create. As a result of quick and continuous growth, they are now looking for a Game Developer to join their team of programmers and graphical artists. This role is permanent and located in Auckland, New Zealand.

This is a really interesting role covering client and server side development. You will be involved in client side virtual world development and coding, server side implementation of game infrastructure and logic as well as integration and configuration of internal and third party ancillary functions.

Alongside your coding skills you will be responsible for setting up and implementing processes and structures including peer programming and mentoring to make the team even more efficient and streamlined. This role is a great opportunity to step up and show your leadership potential.

To be considered suitable for this role, you will have at least 3 years C# experience and some game development experience. Any experience with the following will be highly advantageous:
- 3D MMOG
- Unity 3D
- Network related AI game logic
- Patch management & deployment
- Cloud computing
- System monitoring & performance
- Keen interest in playing online games
