Senior Programmer
Job Description:
IPKeys Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Programmer to join our team. We are seeking a motivated individual capable of delivering high-quality engineering solutions and ready to code, lead and mentor in a small, agile, collaborative, cross-discipline environment. You must be detail-oriented with at least four years of Game Industry experience on AAA titles. You must have a clear understanding of game development processes and experience with the Unreal engine.
Responsibilities:
· Mentor junior engineers
· Develop and manage multiple engine systems
· Work on multiple projects using a shared codebase
· Maintain a high level of code cleanliness, modularity, and stability
· Coordinate with external developers and middleware providers where needed
· Work closely with Lead Engineer to set technical, quality, and scheduling goals for the department
Requirements:
· US Citizen
· Have, or be able to obtain (after employment), a “Secret” level security clearance
· At least 4 years of experience developing AAA games in C++
· At least 1 year of experience developing AAA games with Unreal 3
· Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - or significant development experience
· High level of professional responsibility
· Excellent communication and mentoring skills
· Willing to work in a Scrum-based environment, reliably estimating and delivering on work
