Job Descriptiontop

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with engine programmers at Epic to develop new features for UE4
- Implement, test, debug, and maintain engine code for UE4
- Estimate and manage your schedules and tasks
- Write code on a professional quality level
- Help to peer-review code and keep Phosphor's code quality bar high
- Write TDDs and/or user guides for new editor features you implement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
- Advanced C++ programming skills
- Excellent 3D Math, Trig, and Linear Algebra skills.
- Familiar with modern practices of object oriented programming and processes
- Highly self-motivated and eager to learn new systems and skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent sense of humor and interpersonal skills

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the game industry or related industry a plus
- Experience with UE3 script and/or source code a plus
- Worked with major modern consoles (360, PS3, Wii)
- Worked on mobile game development (iOS or Android)
- Experience optimizing C++ code for performance
- Experience with multithreaded systems
- Knowledge of any major third-party middleware (PhysX, Bink, SpeedTree, Scaleform)
- Familiar with perforce or other modern SCM best practices
- Familiar with Visual Studio
