Title: Senior Systems Engineer (NOC 2147, Skill Level “A”).

RESPONSIBILITES:
•         Maintain and develop system/network architecture and configurations
•         Perform data backup and recovery
•         Provide setup, configuration and maintenance of servers and clients for the Windows and Linux environment
•         Perform system and applications monitoring and reporting to include performance and planning
•         Manages file systems, disc space and configurations
•         Designs and develops extensive scripting and other automation tasks
•         Troubleshoots application, network, and server level problems for internal systems from the OS
•         Provide recommendations regarding system performance and capacity planning for the Windows and Linux platforms including new technologies enhancing current methods and infrastructure
•         Understands, adheres, implement overall security policies
•         Review log files and other server monitoring data to perform proactive maintenance
•         Maintains documentation of systems configurations and procedures
•         Windows or Linux Server installation and maintenance
•         Coordination with Data centers, vendors, and network partners
•         24 x 7 on-call support and maintenance activates

QUALIFICATIONS:
•         7+ years relevant experience in Windows/Linux/Unix Systems administration, including design and implementation
•         Windows Server 2008 and Linux administration experience
•         Excellent communication skills for problem solve with the developers, team members and other department involved
•         Strong knowledge and Hands-on experience of various networking technologies – VPN, Firewall, Load Balancing, TCP/IP, VLAN, Switching and Routing
•         Experience with scripting languages – Power Shell, Perl, BASH and Ruby
•         Experience with DNS, DHCP, NFS, NAS, LDAP
•         Experience with virtualization– VMWare ESXi and EMC VNX Storage
•         Experience with setting up and managing database – MS SQL, MySQL and NoSQL
•         Experience with deploying, troubleshooting and tuning IIS, Apache, Tomcat, PHP and Nginx
•         Must be detailed in documenting information and practice good follow through techniques
•         Bachelor’s degree preferred  or equivalent experience

 Terms of employment: Temporary, minimum 2 years
Wage: $80,000 annual salary ($38.46/hour; 40 hours per week and additional hours as may be required to successfully perform duties.)
Benefits: 2 weeks holiday pay
