Sr Programmer

This programmer will help support and enhance the graphics tools and technology for the "MLB -The Show" product line on all supported Playstation platforms.  The programmer will learn the current, in-house code, and become responsible for specific areas of that code.  The programmer will help add features to the game, and will assist in the redesign and enhancement of specific areas of the existing graphics code base. 

The "MLB - The Show" development team is a talented and energetic team with the long-term focus of delivering award winning sports games, year after year.  We have a very low employee turn over rate.  We're looking for candidates who are talented, enthusiastic about game programming, have positive mental attitudes, and plan to stick with the job for many years.


  • Learn and maintain existing graphics runtime code


  • Learn and maintain existing graphics tools


  • Build and maintain new graphics runtime code


  • Build and maintain new graphics tools


  • Research and experiment with new implementation techniques







  • At least 6 years of game industry (or related) experience


  • At least 3 years of experience with graphics programming


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent


  • Expert in C/C++


  • Extensive experience with 3D Graphics APIs / techniques


  • Solid Graphics / 3D math skills


  • Experience in Cg or equivalent shader techniques


  • Familiarity with advanced vertex and pixel shader techniques


  • Ability to write efficient/compact code for game consoles with limited resources


  • Ability to design and implement modular and easily extensible solutions


  • Strong communication skills


  • Experience programming the Cell SPU and Nvidia GPUs is a plus
