Senior Product Marketing Manager
E-Line seeks to hire a Senior Product Marketing Manager to create product visibility and awareness in preparation for the consumer-facing digital release of current and upcoming products that are designed as entertainment for curious consumers. Like fans of challenging literature and independent films, these players desire exposure to new ideas, worlds, cultures, themes, and experiences.
This Product Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies, run promotional campaigns, develop web and social media presence, develop and maintain press and first party relationships, coordinate trade shows, events, community management, and implement results from market research.
The Product Marketing Manager will initially concentrate on the promotional strategy for the first game published under our recently announced joint venture with the Cook Inlet Tribal Council in Alaska, Upper One Games, the first indigenous-owed video game developer and publisher in North America.
The Product Marketing Manager will lead the collaborative development of the publishing strategy with our partners at Upper One Games. He/she will also work very tightly with the development team to help align outward facing messaging with the essence of what makes the game different and special when experienced through play.
This title is designed for play on a dedicated game console (Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox) as well as a personal computer (Windows or Mac). The game is set in the harsh frozen wilderness of the Arctic where the player, taking on the role of a young Inupiat girl, must survive to save her people. Framed as a series of interconnected stories told by elders to youth, both the narrative and core gameplay explore how interdependence, adaptation and resiliency are critical elements for survival under challenging circumstances.
The game challenges players to access the power of wisdom and support passed between generational members of a community.

Marketing Strategy: Development and Execution
The Product Marketing Manager will define the go-to-market strategy, address specific marketing goals, and develop all marketing plans necessary to meet key metrics such as discovery and unit sales for product launches. The Product Marketing Manager will work with all key product stakeholders including in-house partners, third party partners, and external agencies to ensure successful execution.
A core responsibility for the position of Product Marketing Manager will be to help us understanding the competitive landscape into which we launch. This will include market/opportunity sizing, the tracking of comparable products in the market, and the identification and management of business models.
The Product Marketing Manager will manage all external communications to press, industry and customers including the development of materials to support a crisp product positioning. These communication channels will include our web presence, press releases, trade show presence, online forums and all aspects of our earned and paid media strategy.
Community Management, Events and Outreach
The Product Marketing Manager will maintain a schedule of key industry, press and cultural events in which to present, showcase or promote E-Line Media’s products and services. Through social media, web presence, direct user engagement and facilitator outreach, the Product Marketing Manager will build and maintain direct and indirect communication about the products and services.
We are searching for candidates with experience in the development of strategic marketing plans for similarly situated games across multiple markets, both domestically and internationally, and with a deep understanding of current and emerging game distribution channels. Ideal candidates would also have experience leading product launches for indie games or other games for which discovery of the product is not aided by prior awareness of the franchise or publisher.
We would prefer the Product Marketing Manager to be perform this role from our studio in Seattle, but we are also open to this position being filled within our New York headquarters.
