SEO & CRM Specialist

You understand core gamers and know what makes them tick.  As SEO & CRM Specialist, you are in charge of finding gamers interested in playing Warframe and work with the Development team to help retain them.  You are research oriented, results driven and excel at hands-on execution of online and direct marketing campaigns. Above all,  you’re looking to work with a world class development and publishing team with the freedom to call all the shots on its own.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in all marketing activities to promote our free-to-play game Warframe with the objective of acquiring new players and building the Warframe community and brand 
  • Create unique CRM Campaigns that help build, maintain and grow the Warframe community
  • Create life stage segment programs to build CRM campaigns for new, active, loyal and dormant players
  • Build, test and manage email campaigns to increase user engagement and awareness
  • Become a Warframe user experience expert using practical and analytical data to recommend improvements to the Dev team
  • Conduct A/B testing to meet KPI goals set by management
  • Help build and maintain advertising campaigns utilizing Google Adwords
  • Work with the marketing team to follow up on advertising opportunities from start to finish including contacting ad networks, negotiating spend, ad creation and execution
  • Work with the marketing and development teams to organize assets necessary for online ad creation, approvals and execution including web integration where necessary
  • Monitor campaigns daily and recommend improvements to meet goals set by management
  • Analyze marketing spend against player game data to determine viability and ROI for online campaigns
  • Utilize Google Analytics to improve campaign performance, registration funnels and ROI
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent programs
  • 2-3 years experience in online marketing
  • 1-2 yrs experience in the games industry, particularly with F2P games
  • Experience building and managing multiple online advertising and CRM campaigns internationally
  • Experience working with outside vendors including affiliate networks, publishers and creative agencies
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Adwords
  • Excellent written English and communication skills.
  • Computer skills with standard programs like Excel, Word and Photoshop
  • Outgoing personality and enthusiastic; must be proactive and a self-starter
  • A passion for games and the games industry
Preferred Extras
  • Bilingual - Additional languages and/or knowledge of the games market in regions other than North America are a huge asset
  • Experience with Strongmail, mailchimp or constant contact
  • Basic HTML or MongoDB experience
