Senior Graphics Programmer

Senior Graphics Programmer

The Workshop is looking for a Senior Graphics Programmer for a cross-platform PS4, Xbox One and DX-11 game project. Work may include:

  • Modify and extend existing graphics pipeline

  • Optimize existing systems for console and PC targets

  • Work with technical artists to develop next-gen visual features

  • Develop and extend toolchain to support new features

You must thrive in a small, tight team environment where each member holds a high degree of autonomy and accountability.   • BS - MS in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience

  • 5 years + programming experience in games, other realtime rendering environments

  • Excellent C++ programming and systems design skills

  • Deep experience with DirectX, openGL or related graphics frameworks

  • Deep knowledge of HLSL, Cg

  • Familiarity with DirectX-11, OpenGL 3.x architecture and modern rendering techniques

  • Have worked with large-scale, multi-platform game engine architecture

  • Shipped at least one game on PS3 or Xbox 360

  • Respect for sound engineering principles, must be at ease working with the grain of existing code paradigms

  • Strong math skills

  • Rapid learner, able to absorb and understand complex systems

  • Good interpersonal communication skills

  • Passion for games and game technology

  • Comfortable working closely with Artists and other members of the development team to assure effective use of technology

  • Prior work, personal or professional, that shows exceptional insight and skill of execution

  • Authorized to work in the United States
