Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer to take the lead on a number of major game features. You’ll be working on an original title for release later this year and your skills and abilities will help us implement major new features into the game, including turn-based PvP, social, and monetization features. Jump right in and play a critical engineering role in both gameplay and services.
Design and engineer new game features
Lead major technology decisions throughout the project
Hands-on involvement implementing PvP, social, and monetization features within Unity
Research and recommend third party technology solutions
Implement game components, working with design and art staff to create best-in-class solutions
Enhance and tune existing systems (including Unity optimization)
Support QA and live production process, preparing and supporting successful live launch
Track feature development, ensure timely delivery
5-8 years of game development, including prior published titles
Recent hands-on working knowledge of Unity / C#
Experience integrating at least one of - multi-player, social, or ecommerce technologies
Recent mobile game development experience preferred
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent related field
Must love working in a small agile development team, where everybody jumps in and gets their hands dirty!
Knowledge of third-party Unity-friendly solutions, such as PlayerIO, Photon, Parse, Prime31, etc.
Knowledge of BI / analytics / in-app marketing solutions, such as Playnomics, Swrve, Mixpanel, Apmetrix, etc.
Experience programming rich user interfaces
Organized and buttoned-up approach to managing complex engineering tasks
Understanding of free-to-play business model and supporting technologies
Experience working on rich 3D-content games, including rendering systems, animation systems, and camera systems
