Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description:

IPKeys Technologies is looking for an experienced QA Manager (or a motivated Test Lead ready to advance his career) to develop and manage daily and Release QA work flows in a collaborative, cross-discipline, small team environment. You will be supporting our growing gaming team in Eatontown, NJ at our beautiful new location minutes from the New Jersey shore line. We create multiple training and simulation projects, including first-person military shooters based on the Unreal Engine and tablet-based training applications.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of Games Industry experience in a QA organization, with at least one title shipped on PC
  • Experience mentoring junior personnel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working with varied disciplines and personalities
  • Self-directed with proactive problem solving skills
  • Understanding of programming and art pipelines for the production of modern games
  • Positive attitude, with a passion for making the highest quality games
  • Develop project test plans for all products on all platforms (PC and Android) to ensure high quality releases based on past performance
  • Manage TestLink database to ensure complete test case coverage
  • Manage Hansoft bug database to ensure proper workflow and defect resolution for stakeholders
  • Coordinate test schedule, certification requirements, and release documentation with producers and engineers
  • Establish certification process guidelines
  • Supervise automated and whitebox testing efforts
  • Manage daily smoke tests and ad-hoc testing in support of sprint goals
  • Help hire, train, and manage local embedded QA testers
  • Collaborate with government acceptance testers on company projects
