QA Tester

  • Manual, grey-box, and automation testing in a multi-platform environment (Android, iOS, Windows, Facebook)

  • Integration verification from design specifications

  • Compatibility, performance, and exploratory testing

  • Entering, tracking, and regressing build issues in a JIRA database

  • Attending daily project meetings (Scrum)

  • Communicating needs, estimates, and testing statuses with various teams

  • Creating and updating test documentation

  • Tracking, analyzing, and leading project testing


Applicants will be required to:

  • Communicate effectively

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Multi-task and prioritize, while being self-motivated

  • Show consistent attention to detail

  • Lead a team of peers

  • Develop and maintain test cases/plans and build notes

  • Become familiar with various mobile devices


Desired, but not required:

  • Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts (Jython/Python and JavaScript preferred)

  • Experience with command line scripting

  • Object-oriented programming experience

  • Technical understanding of Unix/Linux environments

  • Knowledge of SDLC and processes for quality assurance guidelines

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development
