Productions Director Mobile Gaming

This position shall be responsible for leading productions on Mobile platforms of the Pune studio. He/She will report directly to the Managing Director and will need to work closely with Producers, Associate producers and support departments such as Finance, Purchase & Administration, Human Resources, IT, Quality Control in order to follow up the progress of the projects.

Key Responsibilities include

- To manage several projects on mobile platforms that can be at different stages of development at the same time.
- To lead projects with a strong corporate impact and bring his/her production methodology expertise to the team he/she is responsible for.
- To Monitor performances (productivity & profitability) of the Production structure
- To Validate scope, schedule and budget milestones with stake holders for each project.
- To Support the producers in building and monitoring the budgets
- To Handle staffing and ensure lowest availability of teams by anticipating projects validation with internal stakeholders.
- To Develop Quality and Control procedures, track project achievements and risks.
- To monitor and analyze a large amount of information.
- To Communicate with MD for strategic decisions on the projects or to help solve issues
- To Challenge the identification and quantification of the project risks and the contingency plans developed with the teams.
- To define challenges and approves contingency plans.
- To find the right external support if necessary.
- To challenge the best tool to use and to participate in the choice of the technology most adapted to the project.
- To develop and Implement the multi-platform development strategies.
- To help to select the quality management principles most adapted to the project.
- To ensure transparent communication with MD regarding the game quality.
- To suggest improvements to adapt game development method and to come up with idea for an innovative organization (new roles…) adapted to the project.
- He / she should be able to tackle with different problematic from very technical, short term, tactical to more long term project from 6 months to 1 year including many steps from conception to production and post-Launch.

Personal profile:

- Should be expert in Game Production lifecycle for different projects from full conception to port on different platforms and stores.
- Knowledge of mobile stores specificities and SDK
- Knowledge of mobile market, trends, consumers, business models especially free to play
- Should be recognized as an expert on planning and monitoring tools (MS Project, Excel, Jira) + communication tools (SharePoint).
- Should be able to define and Implement the necessary communication strategies at the studio or group level.
- Should have capacity to Influence his/her field at both the studio and group levels.
- Should be able to articulate and Organizes information sharing in his/her area of expertise at the studio and group levels.
- Should be able to negotiate with external partners for cost effective budget.
- Should be able to implement the best practices in his/her area of expertise at the studio or group level.
- Should be able to provide strategic direction when it comes to the development of skills in his/her field.
- Should be able to define the direction to take and has a real impact on market trends.
- Should be able to Identify and promote the application of the best ideas.
- Should be able to contribute to major innovations to the studio or the group.
- Should have a strategic view of the organization and should be able to initiate and/or implements strategic changes for the studio or the group.
- Should be familiar with Software development, engineering methods (Scrum)
- Should be proficient in C/C++, Objective C, Open GL, BREW, iPhone SDK, Unity 3D, 3D Vectors
- Should have knowledge on various Game Engines like Unity 3D, Shiva, etc
