As the new Producer is primarily responsible managing a development team or sub-group to support development of our MMO. This person will manage and coordinate relationships with internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a strong manager with proven team-building skills who will provide strong management and leadership while also understanding the technical, creative, and personnel issues involved with a large MMO development project. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support all processes that bring a game to market and will oversee day-to-day aspects of game development from concept to final submission.
  • Manages the production of assets, technology, or content.
  • Facilitates communication of the status of departmental content, assets, and features, and the identification any obstacles or issues needing attention.
  • Accountable for preparation of project work plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Evaluates and verifies milestone deliverables and design specifications
  • Recommends and implements new processes where efficiencies are needed to improve on-time or on-budget delivery.
  • Monitors and maintains project schedules.
  • Helps to manage the dependencies and development process with core studio services including Development, Operations, Publishing, and QA

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in computer science, math, or a related/equivalent technical discipline
  • At least 3 years hands-on production experience
  • Proven ability to meet goals and objectives
  • Should have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be able to keep focus on multiple tasks and effectively set priorities between projects
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under deadlines and budgets
  • Good judgment skills and ability to assess quality and accuracy of projects and project timetables

Pluses:

  • Prior experience working with large development teams
  • Proficient knowledge or practical experience in Development, Operations, or Publishing
