Principle Vehicle Engineer

 

KIXEYE seeks a talented engineering mastermind interested in taking their already extensive knowledge of coding, but still willing to learn things on the fly solving problems they never knew existed. This is a highly visible role, working on a brand new 3D game title. We are currently hiring for multiple roles on this team, including senior and lead positions.

  • Collaborate on creating insanely great games in an efficient manner

What you bring to the role:

  • Fluent in C++ with strong OOP fundamentals
  • At least 3 years of experience with Unreal Engine and UnrealScript
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of physics simulation, preferably including vehicle dynamics
  • 10+ years development experience with at least two shipped products
  • Proficient with 3D math including linear algebra (vector math, matrices)
  • Knowledge of common data structures and algorithmic solutions
  • PC or console development experience
  • Direct experience with multi-player or equivalent client/server topologies as used in online games
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Real-time networking programming experience
  • Experience with the PhysX Engine
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum team
