Online Game Programmer

Looking for a great job creating games? Massive Entertainment is currently looking for an Online Game Programmer.


About the role

Working in our Online team, your primary focus will be integrating services and systems for the next gen consoles. You will also be developing modern AAA Online game features, taking them from a persisted backend through Snowdrop™, our in house developed engine to the user interface. You will work iteratively in tight collaboration with other programmers, game designers and testers; to design feature code architecture to fit multiple platforms and backend. It is important that you are a strong communicator, both verbally and in text.

Responsibilities

•Integration of 1st party services and requirements
•Design and implementation of new systems, while improving systems in place
•C++ programming
•Databases
•Scalability, stability, and security testing of services
•Tools & Monitoring systems

Profile

You will be part of a team of online programmers where quality and attention to detail is highly valued. You will also work close to both game-designers and operations.
