Mobile Marketing Manager

We are a mobile game development studio in sunny Santa Monica, CA, looking for a Mobile Marketing Campaign Manager with previous marketing and public relations experience. This position will be over the PR and Marketing department of the studio. This role will support a wide array of PR and marketing activities, including product launches and social media coordination.

Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day mobile marketing campaigns, including ad trafficking, creating new grassroots campaigns and distribution of marketing materials
* Manage the creation of assets for use in marketing materials including banner ads, full page ads, and gameplay/teaser videos
* Identify new media outlets and areas of opportunity for future grassroots ad campaigns
* Develop and maintain expertise in mobile advertising space and become a mobile advertising expert
* Track competitive trends, manage all competitive analyses documentation, and communicate competitive insights to the product, strategy, and sales teams
* Manage user acquisition and retention
* Leverage social media opportunities (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
* Keep your team informed of clients' needs and requests so we can continue to create new products to answer market needs
* Develop and manage direct reports in the marketing department
* Evaluate and improve cross-promotion techniques
* Follow up on potential new marketing vendor/partner leads as needed

Requirements:
* Mobile and/or online marketing experience
* Self-motivated creative person
* Strong work ethic with organizational skills and attention to detail
* Remarkable writing and communication skills
* Exceptional analytical skills
* Previous experience leading successful marketing campaign(s)
* Strong interest in social media
* Strong eye for innovative creative ways to draw players to our mobile games; know
what works and doesn't work for the mobile user
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Ability to multitask
* A practiced user and mobile evangelist --you own a smart phone; perhaps a tablet, but mobile technology is an integral part of your waking day
