Lead the technical development of our product: a learning game for web and mobile, integrated with a teacher/student portal and content management system
Work closely with our content and design teams to rapidly prototype and iterate on game mechanics and systems
Craft technical solutions that are intrinsically scalable, cross-platform, and adaptable
Evaluate and stay current on best practices and evolving technologies in gaming across all platforms with consideration to current technological capabilities in schools
Define and document policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of technology for our games
Help build our development team
Minimum BS Computer Science or related field
5+ years professional game development experience
2+ years working in Unity
Proven Senior or Lead role on one or more shipped titles on the Unity development platform
In-depth practical understanding of and experience with all stages of the game development cycle (including application analysis, development, implementation, and support)
Experience with cross-platform app development (iOS/Android/web)
Experience creating highly scalable and modular game systems
Strong technical leadership and project management experience
Excellent communication/collaboration skills
Self-motivated, with a can-do attitude
Good to have
Strong background with Flash/ActionScript a big plus
Server-side, network engineering experience
Experience in an enterprise environment
Interest in chemistry and/or other areas of science
