About Us

We are a small team of developers with extensive history in developing online casino games.  Spin For Good (http://spinforgood.com) was created and launched in December of 2013 to build casual games for web and mobile, with an aim of gamifying charitable donations. We have offices in Las Vegas and Chicago, but remote work is OK.

Work as part of a small and autonomous startup to develop social games for a good cause.  Game developers will be responsible for building a high quality and fun game that works on web and mobile devices. This will be a short-term (160 hours) contract offering for roughly a 4 week period with the possibility for long-term work. You will work closely with our small company team, including backend developers, artists, and product managers to deliver a great player experience and will work with other Game Developers to share learning and best practices.

Our games are developed using the Unity Game Engine, encompassing multiple platforms (mobile and web). As a developer you have an interest in learning about Unity, are comfortable working on complicated code-base, and have a great sense of what makes a good game.  We are a small, tightly-knit startup team that makes frequent releases to the live environment. This position is not about years of experience, industry background, or academics.  It's about building great games for a good cause.


  • Deliver high quality and well-structured code in C#/Objective C
  • Design, architect and implement game features
  • Take an active part in game creation and specification
  • Maintain and optimize new and existing game features

Skills and background

You are passionate about games and able to work in a flexible and fluid environment where the job will evolve over time.

Other skills include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2+ years software development experience with C#
  • Knowledge of Unity Game Engine
  • Experience with integrating animations in a game environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Passion for software development 

Bonus skills:

  • Experience developing Social Games and/or Casino Games
  • Understanding of back-end and databases
  • Understanding of Facebook APIs
  • Experience in developing games for mobile platform



 This position is project-based with the potential for long-term employment. This project requires creation of 2d visual assets for a blackjack game and 3 reel slot machine game, including: backgrounds/ environments, cards, slot symbols and simple animations.

--Highly creative and experienced: in designing and developing Facebook-based games and graphics

--Visually versatile: comfortable and capable of working in a broad range of visual styles and game themes.

--Efficient: capable of creating effective graphics and design within the technical constraints of the online medium.

--Motivated: eager to take ownership, and drive the look of a game product from conception to completion.

 Desired Experience

--Some experience in 2D design and animation, as it pertains to online games.

--Social gaming experience, as it pertains to casual MMOs, Facebook, etc.

--Experience with Unity a plus


Desired Skills

--Creative designer, with an ability to design assets for web-based games with limited screen real estate

--Graphic design and layout skills, as it pertains to user interfaces and interactivity
