BroadbandTV is hiring a passionate sales professional to help grow our sales team.  This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the content acquisition team for one of the largest MCNs (Multi-Channel Network) on YouTube.

 

The Gaming Sales Team Lead is responsible for identifying popular video gaming content on YouTube and encouraging content creators to join our growing network. You will be responsible for training and managing a remote sales team. You will also be collaborating closely with our Head of Gaming on acquisition strategy for the gaming division. Expertise in online video and gaming is a must. Knowledge of gaming live streams, communities, and YouTubers are considered assets.

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in sales and/or business development

  • Leadership, organization and time management skills

  • Team player that can inspire team members

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • In depth knowledge of the online video industry and YouTube

  • Strong understanding of technology, new media, and social media

  • Passion and interest in games, the gaming community, and gaming industry

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive

Duties

  • Reaching out to potential gaming partners to outline the benefits of joining our network

  • Networking with potential gaming partners to increase BBTV’s reach within the online technology communities

  • Managing a content acquisition team, training and mentoring them to make sure they use their time effectively, efficiently and productively

  • Having weekly individual and team review meetings to measure the accomplishment of the recruitment team and make sure they meet their quota set by BBTV management team

  • Providing the company with feedback on the performance of your recruitment team

  • Collaborating with the Head of Gaming to identify and analyze new opportunities for revenue generation, specifically from the acquisition of YouTube channels

  • Assisting BBTV strategically to grow our verticals within YouTube
