Game Engineer

Dynamighty is a game developer creating CounterSpy, an action espionage game for PlayStation & mobile platforms. We are seeking a Game Engineer to join our team here in San Francisco.

Our focus is on making character based action games with emotional depth. Each game we develop strives to have a unique visual style that enhances the emotion and visually connects with our audience.  

As part of your role at Dynamighty, you will have ownership of one of the platforms and be responsible for making the game shine on that device. In addition, you will be responsible for implementation of new engine features across all platforms.

Ideally, you are passionate about games, understand that quality games take constant iteration and refinement, and enjoy working as part of a small highly collaborative team. As part of our team, Engineers at Dynamighty are have plenty of opportunity to work across across every aspect of the games development in order to meet the current needs of the project.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Computing / Engineering / Math related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Comfortable with basic math required for 3D games (vector, matrix, quaternion, etc.)
  • Experience in development of 3D character based games
  • Willingness to take on any task needed to finish the game
  • A love of games and gameplay

 


Desired Skills / Experience

  • 4 years of game programming experience
  • Having shipped a game in a professional capacity
  • Experience with Rendering/Shader Programming, with the Math skills to match
  • Experience with one or more Sony consoles
  • Experience with Unity development
  • Strong understanding of many areas of game programming
