As our new Game Client Engineer you will work on client game play and engine systems for The Elder Scrolls Online. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse array of game development areas ranging from gameplay implementation to lower level engine programming to user interface implementation. This position requires someone with a critical eye, analytical mind, and creative spirit to address areas that may need to be improved: visuals, iteration times, code quality, engine performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with designers, artists, and engineers to implement new features in our MMO client

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related/equivalent technical discipline
  • Solid C/C++ programming skills
  • Strong communication skills

Pluses:

  • Knowledge of localization programming and concerns
  • Experience with LUA
  • Experience with SQL databases or multi-threading
  • Experience with MMOs, as a player or developer
