Psyonix is a game development studio in San Diego, CA of just under 40 people. We're the studio that created Onslaught for UT2004, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, and the recently announced Nosgoth. In the past we have worked on Gears of War, UT3, Bulletstorm, Mass Effect 3, and X-Com: Enemy Unknown among others. We've been behind the scenes for many years but the studio focus has shifted to working on our own titles now.
We are a fiercely independent studio with a Valve-like working environment. All our developers contribute directly to design and company direction. In addition we're one of the most stable companies in the game industry having had no layoffs and gradual, sensible growth for over a decade.We need people that can self-manage in the kind of open environment where there is more of a focus on cooperation than being handed down detailed direction. This is AAA game development so we are looking for programmers who are experienced or are very stand-out candidates.

FX Artist -Psyonix is looking for a talented and experienced fx artist / designer capable of creating stunning realtime particle effects using an editor such as the UE3/UE4 or UDK editor.
Compensation: Depends on experience and abilities ($70k+ possible) Bonuses, medical benefits, lots of company parties, events, etc.
