Community Manager

We're a new tablet/mobile game company with offices near Culver City. We'd like to interview both experienced and intermediate level online game community managers with the following skills for long term contract/freelance work on our latest project:

Master communicator able to recruit, manage and direct influential online community leaders who are passionate about our games.

Ability to be the voice of the player, culling feedback from the community and representing our players' opinions to the game development team.

Serves as a customer service representative, compiling data and reports from our forums to identify recurring problems and offering assistance, solutions and reassurance as needed.

Combine user data and opinions into advice for tuning our user acquisition strategy.

Create blog posts and other communications for social media channels and public relations outlets. Top notch writing skills with a flair for humor are key.

Must be a social media guru able to grow the presence of both the game and our company across Twitter, Facebook and any emerging social media platforms we're not yet aware of.

Ability to capture, edit, and enhance gameplay as digital video for release to the community is important.

Keeps the community engaged with the game and each other via news, events, competitions, polls, discussions, etc.

Generates excitement and enthusiasm for upcoming releases of new content and new games.

Should be able to attend, plan, and organize industry events pertinent to our games and community.

Will need to manage media requests for assets, content, interviews, etc.

Handles frontline customer support as needed, primarily via online forums and social media.

Must be well-informed on game marketing, communications, PR, advertising, etc.

Able to provide analytics and associated reports on player metrics and find ways to improve those metrics.

Organizes and runs player test sessions of game software in development.

Works hand-in-hand with quality assurance leads to identify and solve problems discovered in the game which impact our users.
