Working under the Assistant Technical Director and in collaboration with the rest of our R&D teams, you will be in charge of analyzing the AI needs of our future projects, both in terms of tools and real time. You will generate new ideas for the architecture of these systems and coordinate the development of the retained solutions. Your job will be to take the quality of the studio's AI technology beyond the existing standards in the industry.


You have an excellent knowledge of AI technologies applied to video games. You are inventive and motivated to work on our future innovative AAA projects and take up stimulating challenges.


As part of your work:

  • You will contribute to improving and extending the internal AI engine on PlayStation 4, while setting up and monitoring production (FSM, pathfinding, behaviors, dodges, etc.).
  • You will work in close collaboration with level designers and scripters to find optimal answers to their production problems, but also to give them clear and manageable constraints.
  • You will manage the technical supervision of your team in terms of engine development and the production tools provided to them in Maya (C++, Python/MEL, PyQt plugins, etc.) and internal tools (Brain Editor)

  • You will monitor technological developments in your field, keeping abreast of developments in the different AI techniques and proposing specific developments for the needs of the game.



  • 4/5 years' third level training in IT (engineering school);
  • 3 to 5 years' experience of a similar position or solid experience as a senior AI engineer on major projects;
  • At least one title released as a Senior AI engineer;
  • Expertise in AI techniques;
  • You are motivated, resourceful and a source of new ideas.
  • Your creativity and hands-on approach help you to find and apply the best solutions to enable progress.
  • You wish to commit to innovative and high added-value projects.
  • A good knowledge of English is essential.

  • Perfect mastery of C/C++;
  • A sound knowledge of mathematics;
  • Very adaptable;
  • Good people skills. A desire to develop and use your code from the design stage to implementation by level designers/scripters;
  • Rigorous and reliable.
  • Good analytical skills and overall vision.
