Some fun parts of your job:
Assisting a small team to create games and gaming interfaces that utilize the Sphero API.
Brainstorming new augmented reality gameplay elements and concepts.
Creating cutting edge augmented reality gaming experiences.
Working closely with both the others on the software development team as well as the hardware engineers during implementation.
Assisting in the implementation of new game mechanics that bridge the reality of Sphero with the virtual, connected environment of the smartphone in a complementary way.
Experience and attributes we’d like you to have:
Experience with Unity 3D or similar game engine.
4+ years experience with C/C++.
A deep understanding of low level programming, memory management, and optimization.
Real world experience bringing apps to market.
Positive attitude and excitement about hardware and robotics.
Familiarity with ObjC, Java, and C#.
Great estimation skills with a proven ability to deliver on time.
Knowledge of best practices in software design and development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent skill set.
I would be great if you had these:
Strong 3D math/linear algebra skills
Experience working at a startup.
iOS development, deployment, and testing.
Android development, deployment, and testing.
Experience in OpenGL and other graphics libraries.
Prior experience with hardware and robotics.
Experience in Bluetooth communication.
Familiarity with the engineering challenges of control systems.
Experience with distributed version control systems (git).
