2D/3D Art Director - Gameloft New Zealand

Art Director

With offices in 30 countries in Europe, North America and Asia, with strength of over 6000 artistically talented and creative people Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of digital and social games, is seeking its Art Director to join the Gameloft Auckland Studio.

To shine in this role, you must be an exceptional artist with skills in both 2D and 3D arts. You have experience in mobile or casual games and are closely in touch with artistic trends.

Being a true generalist with a strong background in 2D concept enables you to give design input and create quick mockups to illustrate your ideas.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • You have leadership skills.
  • Proven experience on senior level capacity in the games industry.
  • Creative, autonomous and well-organized. 
  • You are excellent in working with teams.
  • You can master various 2D and 3D styles.
  • High-level experience in Flash/Photoshop/3DS Max.
  • Ability to conceptualize characters and environments, and then illustrate them into a game context.
  • Business level written and verbal English.
  • Passionate about casual games.

  • Knowledgeable in contemporary media (web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.).
