The College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) is organized into three schools to represent the breadth and depth of offerings across the computing and digital media spectrum. Our degree programs offer innovative foundations and practical applications of today’s most sought after skills and credentials.

The School of Cinematic Arts is home to our animation and cinema programs, industries which are still evolving and merge creativity and technology, imagination and technique, and vision and execution.

The School of Computing houses programs across the technology spectrum and all degrees share the same approach of combining theoretical fundamentals with hands-on practice.

The School of Design is home to programs at the intersection of learning, engagement, interaction, technology, education and society. CDM’s newest school it includes programs in graphic design, interactive and social media, game development, human computer interaction, and digital communication and media arts.

Assistant Professor/Instructor in Animation

DePaul University invites Game Artists and Animators with studio production experience to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position in our Animation and Game Dev programs. There are currently over 200 majors enrolled in our Animation MFA, MA, BFA and BA degrees, and we have 10 full-time Animation faculty members. Animation resources include a stop motion studio, two green screen stages, a sound recording and mixing studio, and a mocap studio. Animation students have been a part of game teams that have produced the IGF Student Showcase winning games Octodad and Devil’s Tuning Fork.

Candidates for the tenured track position should have a PhD or equivalent.
