The key responsibilities of the Technical Director include the following:
• Responsible for the evaluation and selection of technical strategies • Responsible for the evaluation and selection of the technical staff • Responsible for mentoring the technical staff
The Key requirements for this position are:
• Interest in being involved in the creation, development, and fruition of a top tier development studio. • Must be a good communicator • The candidate must be comfortable being part of a direction team. • Must be a self starter. • The candidate must be comfortable with and interested in a wide array of projects and platforms • At minimum, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent. • Proven track record in creating and implementing technology strategy and solutions • Demonstrated knowledge of game technology and product life cycle • Experience managing multiple employees and building successful and cohesive teams • Strong 3D math background
