Float Hybrid Entertainment is now accepting applications for a seasoned Lead Engineer
who has the skills and experience to drive the technology and engineering efforts
of a new, truly innovative Kinect title.
Responsibilities:
- Architect new and innovative gameplay systems
- Propose and specify solutions to the game's technical requirements
- Take ownership and responsibility of correct functioning code and completion of the game’s technical milestones
- Get your hands dirty, but keep your code clean
- Establish, optimize, and maintain the technical pipelines
- Help to keep the project on-time, on-track and focused on the product vision
- Work closely with a small, dedicated team of engineers, artists and designers to make the next BIG Xbox 360 Kinect title.
Requirements:
- Has shipped a premium (boxed or arcade) Xbox 360 title in a Lead capacity
- Familiarity with the Unreal Engine, expertise in UDK a huge plus
- Highly motivated, strong work ethic, and an open communicator and leader
- Knowledge of the Xbox 360 development, optimization, and technical requirements
- Able to refactor prototype code until it shines like gold
- Able to jump between multiple disparate tasks in a single bound
- Able to work individually, with a team, take direction, and/or give direction
- A passion for innovative and emergent games and gameplay
