Description: Full-time Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science, DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore. We expect to make an appointment at the Assistant Professor level, although more senior candidates will also be considered.

Starting Date: Immediate
Qualifications: Ph.D. (or near completion) or a Master’s in Computer Science or a closely related field with research and teaching interests involving interactions between computer science and interactive digital entertainment. Subjects of interest include computer graphics, real-time interactive simulation, aspects of computer networking in online computer gaming, artificial intelligence, game software design and development, serious gaming, mobile graphics. Relevant industry experience or research for four years is required.
A commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship is expected.
Responsibilities: While teaching some combination of the above subjects as determined by the selected candidate's unique synthesis of interests, he/she is also expected to teach introductory computer science courses as required. Other responsibilities include academic advising, undergraduate research advising, curriculum development, institutional service and appropriate scholarly activity.
Salary: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and education.
