Sr. Game Engineer

Anki, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Game Engineer to build and enhance our game engine, as well as iterating with designers and producers on gameplay features that drive the creative direction of our products. This position will be working to solve complex problems that are unique in the world of games; the person filling the role will need to approach these problems with creativity and flexibility. They will have worked on at least one shipped game title, and have experience working as part of a mid-size engineering team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Build and maintain game engine
-Determine the need for, and develop, tools in support of development.
-Use fast prototyping to test new game features
-As a member of the team, implement a maintainable code base

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
-Excellent C/C++ design and programming skills
-Knowledge of design patterns and code architecture
-Strong gameplay and logic coding skills
-Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization skills Strong math skills
-Can use a dishwasher
-Familiar with the test driven development practice/environment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
